SPAR needs Experienced Merchandisers to service
Independent Pharmacy Retailers on an on-going, part-time independent
contractor basis.
If you have experience in:
* Drug or pharmacy merchandising
* Health and beauty merchandising
* Retail resets
* Plan-O-Grams
* Project work
Merchandisers service various over-the-counter and health and beauty
products; We may conduct customized resets, create new item product
cut-in opportunities, place point-of-purchase material, as well as
complete other general merchandising activities. Stores are visited once
each month.
Program requirements:
* Ability to read planograms
* Review sales history to assist in product purchasing
recommendations.
* Customize/modify planograms for store specific category resets
* Work independently
* Strong customer service skills, and orientation to detail
* Strong communication, diplomacy and problem solving skills
* Professional in appearance and representation
* Weekday daytime availability
* Complete all visits within a three-week service window
* Two years Drug/Grocery experience preferred
* Over-the-counter and health and beauty product knowledge
preferred
SPAR Merchandisers:
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
* Must be able to bend, stoop and stand continuously for extended
periods
* Must have daily internet access with an active email address and
the ability to utilize applications via the internet/web
* Must report work completions on the day of service
* Must communicate with their District Manager as required
* Must have reliable transportation and agree to participate in a
motor vehicle background screening if requested
* Usage of a digital camera is desirable for work verification
* Are Independent Contractors
