I did the ZamZuu business years back when it was called YTB. Early 2000 was
good days there, I got involved midway through and I made a lot of sales. I
had plenty of other ladies that loved the travel business and they did a
good job of selling. Because of so many new travel mlm companies opening I
lost a few to Traverus because it was cheaper to get started. I was
approached and asked to join from another friend. I waited and then that
same friend jumped from Traverus to WorldVentures because the compensation
plan was better. Then all the legal issues happened and I understood why.
Every company approaching a billion dollar in sales, all face lawsuits.
The overall concept is great because almost everyone loves travel and your
making it available for people to sell and generate money. ZamZuu structure
was bad back then, compensation plan and entree price. I'm aware that now
they change the plan to benefit average people. Giving away sites for free
is a good strategy.
I still sell travel as an affiliate for Travalocity since I learned a lot.
I suggest to people all the time to get involved with the MLM industry
because money can be made. You can enjoy what you're doing versus hating the
job. I researched this industry a lot and back in 1945 the requirement was
that you had to make 25 sales before you could expand and build a team. Too
me that's a good strategy because the backbone of the business is selling
first. No sales, no residual income. No sales, your team will drop out. I
know a higher up in ZamZuu that was making $899k a year. When the trouble
hit and his team dropped, he was down to $100k. He did a good job of
teaching his team how to sell, how to implement the systems to build online,
how to make video marketing material, how to make additional products
outside of ZamZuu.
Here's a tip that may generate some extra sales. You can market your
business on Google local for free. It's limited to the local area but you'll
get in front of a few people looking to book trips.
