Has anyone had this problem? A company says you did something wrong when you didn't. I haven't been paid 2x due to mistakes on the part of the scheduler, and one time I had put out $10 for something I could not use.
A couple times the schedulers were unfamiliar with the business (from 2 different companies). In involved issues with a large store that also operated a smaller single department version. In one case, once I explained the difference 2x, they understood. I even had to remind them that 'as per the directions' this shop did not include certain sections. But the other time, the person continued to be ignorant.
In another situation, I did make a minor error on the report that could be corrected, but the scheduler gave me the wrong info to correct, so it wasn't corrected, they reassigned the shop to someone else and I wasn't paid.
Once they told me I went on the wrong date as they had changed the date and emailed me, but I was able to prove that they had emailed me saying it was the original date less than 24 hours before.
Another time, a question asked if an associated was visible in a section of a large store. The associate had been visible, but left a I was jotting notes from the previous section while I as 20 feet away from him. I explained this in my report (and that I wasn't able to find him later on), but they insisted that I HAD TO have interacted with him since he was visible. They could not understand the concept that since I was not able to get closer than 20 feet from him before he walked in the opposite direction, he was VISIBLE to me, but not available to interact with.
Not to mention the MANY spelling and grammatical errors I find on the directions and questions or questions that just aren't asked properly, yet they are quick to deduct points and even money for a few mistakes. And a spell checker would have caught some of their mistakes! One scheduler gave me a minimally passing score complaining of my grammar (does it seem like I have bad grammar?), while making a statement that was complete nonsense grammatically!
I get so frustrated and discouraged when this happens.
