Objectives

3. Formulating and executing a Staffing Strategy.
4. Formulating and executing a Development Strategy.
5. Formulating and executing a Performance and Rewards Management Strategy.
6. Formulating and executing a strategy for complying with Legal and Cultural differences across the world.
7. Formulating and executing an Employee Relations Strategy.

- Defining the organization's context globally
- Deriving an HR strategy that fits the organization's context
- Workforce planning: determining global workforce requirements 
- Evaluating organizational and workforce culture(s) and developing a philosophy to govern cultural accommodation
 
Module 2 - Global Staffing & Development Strategy
- Developing a global structure and defining employee roles
- Assessing staffing requirements at all global locations
- Determining the mix of local nationals, expatriates and third country nationals in all global locations

- Assessing developmental requirements

Module 3 - Global Performance Management
- Developing a global performance model for the organization
- Establishing performance criteria and standards
- Selecting metrics and managing performance
 
Module 4 - Global Remuneration Management
- Developing a remuneration strategy
- Designing rewards programs to support the strategy
- Administering rewards programs globally
 
Module 5 - The Role Of The Global Human Resources Function
- Conforming to international and local laws/regulations
- Accommodating local customs and competitive practices
- Dealing with employee representation bodies (unions; works councils)
- Managing employee assignments globally
- Branding the organization as a preferred employer globally
- Developing a philosophy that defines HR's role
- Designing an HR structure that fits the organization
- Defining roles and required competencies for HR staff
- Developing policies and programs to govern workforce management

Certification
