We received the following information from Customer Service of EJIP Cikarang Bekasi:
1. Mr Iqbal briefed to SPMI members on September 22, 2012 as follows:
1) All companies should operate on October 3, 2012, then employees should boycott the works.
2) No holiday is permitted on October 3, 2012.
3) Compensation day off is also not permitted.
4) If any company who does not follow above, such company will suffer from consecutive 7 days boycotts.
2. Demonstration and National Strike:
1) Union demands
a. Abolition of Outsourcing system by Minister Decree of Government Regulation
b. Determination of decent living parameter minimum 86 items by Minister Decree / Gov.Regulation
c. Certainty of execution of the Implementation Agency of Social Security to all workers which all cost shall bear by the company
2) Agenda
a. 27 September 2012; Demonstration to Jakarta as the warming up before national strike, the destination are to the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Manpower, from EJIP and surrounding possibly they will gather at Labor House near the EJIP bridge tomorrow morning
b. 28 Sept. 2012, Oct. 2,3,4,5 and 11, 12, 2012 National strike will be done at all industrial estate or government offices ( Bupati/Walikota, Governor, DPRD )
This pressure is aimed in order the government will ready open the chance to negotiate with labor union for the above union demands.

JAKARTA (Suara Karya): Pemerintah dianggap gagal menjalankan amanat konstitusi, yaitu menyejahterakan rakyat, khususnya memperbaiki nasib pekerja/buruh di Tanah Air.
Karena itu, Presiden Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Indonesia (KSPI)/anggota Presidium Majelis Pekerja Buruh Indonesia (MPBI) Said Iqbal memastikan, lebih dari 2 juta pekerja/buruh dari 21 kabupaten/kota sentra industri akan melakukan aksi mogok kerja. Aksi tersebut, katanya, dalam rangka menuntut hak-hak buruh yang belum terpenuhi.
Aksi mogok kerja atau menghentikan produksi di lokasi perusahaan dan kawasan industri itu akan dilakukan buruh secara serentak pada 3 Oktober 2012. "Buruh menuntut penghapusan outsourcing (sistem alih daya), menolak upah murah (hostum), dan menuntut jaminan kesehatan untuk seluruh rakyat tanpa terkecuali pada tahun 2014," kata Said di Jakarta, Selasa.
Aksi mogok kerja buruh akan digelar di Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Serang, Cilegon, Karawang, Purwakarta, Sukabumi, Cimahi, dan Bandung. Juga di Semarang, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto, Pasuruan, Gresik, Batam, Karimun, Medan, Deli, Makassar, dan Bitung. Sementara di Aceh, Riau, Bengkulu, Jambi, Lampung, Kaltim, Kalsel, Sulut, Gorontalo, Sultra, dan Papua. buruh melakukan unjuk rasa ke DPRD setempat.
